Well Purple Haze is like an addiction to any rock fan, not necessarily of the Iron Maiden variety, more of the old fashioned Deep Purple kinds.

2 flights up through a wooden door and you are confronted with a dimly lit joint at first sight, but the light seems to get brighter as you move inside. Glass etchings and paintings of all rock stars, hendrix to grateful dead to jim morisson adorn the walls.

This is definitely a no nonsense pub, no promos, no offers, just pure music and fun and drinks. The best drink i have ever tasted is a self titled one, the Purple Haze a shooter, which really shoots u down, must have. The french fries here are incomparable in town.

Music is the best here and u can see a lot of folks sipping fresh lime sodas and rockin to the music. As the night gets older the DJ dishes out the faster uglier ones like GNR. but by 10 he has mellowed again to Dire Straits, Lynrd Skynrd and the likes

If you guys are ever in B’lore check this place out. You might not find skimply clad girls here, but u might just meet the best of the musci lovers here
